From Russian Jack Springs Park (pink arrow), go under the Boniface underpass and continue on the residential road (Craig Dr) past the elementary school. When the car road ends at the baseball field, continue onto the trail and bike on the right side of the park. You’ll pass some condos, then the trail crosses the street to enter Cheney Lake. Keep left on the trail after crossing the road and bike around to the northwest corner of the lake where a side trail will connect you to 16th Ave. Follow 16th ave west. Pass the Methodist Church and turn left on Patterson, then after only about 100ft turn right on Chester. Bike to the end of the cul-de-sac and take the narrow unpaved connector between the houses. When you reach the paved trail turn right and bike around the Begich Middle school fields. Continue on the paved trail under the Creekside drive underpass, continuing to follow the creek to your right. The paved trail will lead you to the Muldoon-Debarr intersection. Cross Muldoon at the cross walk and you’ll see the trail pick up again as it enters the park. There are bike racks on both sides of the pergola.
If using a wheelchair or to avoid walking on uneven surfaces, parking in the main Chanshnu Muldoon Park parking spaces would be ideal. If space is not available there, you can park in the Muldoon Town Center shopping center lot just north of the park (in front of the Muldoon Library) which is connected to the park by a flat paved path. Alternatively, drive north on Muldoon, take a right on 12th into the neighborhood, right on Boston St and continue straight into the parking lot when the road curves to the left. This parking lot has curb gaps to provide wheelchair access and the Farmers Market can be reached by using the paved footbridge.
